Description
A hands-on way to build the fine motor skills every child needs before handwriting begins.
In the Montessori approach, children learn hand control through simple strokes (straight lines, curves, loops and waves) long before they write a single letter. These 25 wooden stencil boards turn that idea into a hands-on routine, moving from basic strokes to fun shapes like houses and owls.

We got the GiggleNest wooden handwriting stencil set about three weeks ago, and my daughter went from barely holding a pencil steady to confidently tracing the owl design on her own.
She actually asks for 'tracing time' now - I don't have to remind her once.
Really a good material my children are enjoying it
Helpful
My daughter is learning pre-writing skills naturally, tactilely connecting with sustainable materials. This will last through multiple kids! This is how educational toys should be made. GiggleNest consistently delivers on sustainability!
As educators ourselves, we were looking for something that would give our son Aryan a head start in handwriting before formal schooling. This set exceeded our expectations! The progression from simple lines to complex patterns is pedagogically sound. We've created a structured 15-minute daily practice routine, and the results are remarkable - his pencil grip has improved dramatically, and his teacher noticed his superior tracing skills compared to peers. The 24 mini boards plus 1 large board provide enough variety to keep him engaged for months. We track his progress by timing how quickly he can complete each pattern accurately. At ₹649, this is better than expensive workbooks that get used once. The wooden construction means it'll last through multiple children. My only wish is for numbered boards showing difficulty progression and maybe a progress chart. Highly recommended for parents serious about early academic preparation!"
