Description
Does your child love a challenge? Watch their little fingers get to work as they thread, stretch, and weave their way through fun patterns.
The Challenge: The Find Your Way Game (Multiple ways to play. Refer to "How To Play" Section below) is a dual-activity learning board designed to develop the critical motor and cognitive skills young children need for writing, reading, and everyday independence. Using either a threading cord or rubber bands, children study a pattern card and recreate the path on the wooden board.
Key Highlights
MDF Wooden board with 9 securely fixed wooden pegs
Dual activity β threading cord AND rubber band stretching in one board
Builds concentration, pattern recognition and sequencing to complete each path
Fine motor strength, pincer grip, hand-eye coordination and bilateral coordination
Pulling cord through pegs and stretching rubber bands directly strengthens the pincer grip essential for writing, buttoning clothes, and using scissors
Translating a winding path from a card to the physical board trains the brain and eyes to work together with the hands β a key skill for reading and writing
Each pattern card presents a puzzle to decode step by step β children must plan ahead, remember the sequence, and course-correct if they go off-path
Threading and banding require deliberate, unhurried movement β children naturally slow down and stay on task to complete each pattern, training their attention span
One hand holds the board steady while the other guides the cord or band β using both hands together in a coordinated way, foundational for sports and daily tasks

How to Play?
Activity 1 β Threading: Pick a pattern card, start at the marked point, and weave the threading cord through the pegs following the path shown on the card β step by step to the finish!
Activity 2 β Rubber Band Stretching: Pick a pattern card, identify which pegs to connect, and stretch the rubber band from peg to peg recreating the shape β build geometric patterns using multiple bands!
Activity 3 β Popstick Patterns: Pick a challenge card and study the pattern. Then place the colourful popsticks on the board to recreate it exactly as shown β matching direction, position, and sequence. Ready for a bigger challenge? Use a fork to pick up each popstick, balance it carefully, and place it on the board β a brilliant way to build steady hands, concentration, and pre-writing control!
Skill Boost Tip: Start with simple 2β3 step patterns and gradually move to longer, winding paths as your child gains confidence. Let them self-correct β that's where the real learning happens!
Progressive Challenge: Pattern cards range from beginner S-curves to complex winding routes β always the right level of challenge to keep kids motivated and growing!
